COMPETITIONS
The 2026 At Large National Policy Competition
Teams of two act as Policy Advisors to the Minister of Justice. Each team writes free and frank advice on how New Zealand can lift youth voter turnout at general elections, then defends it before a panel of expert judges.
Open to students from participating societies. Written papers are due 18 October. Presentations run over Zoom on 21 October, 5:30-6:45pm NZT. Where a society runs its own regional round, the winners go straight to the final.
Prizes
The winning team receives $200 from At Large. Further prizes to be announced.
